The Breakdown:
1. Unified Campaigns Across Meta Apps - Businesses can now run campaigns for WhatsApp, Facebook, and Instagram directly from Ads Manager. The setup uses shared creatives and budgets, with optional AI optimization via Advantage+ across placements.
2. AI for Product Recommendations and Sales - Meta is developing a Business AI to deliver personalized product suggestions, handle sales workflows, and follow up with users, all through WhatsApp chat. The tool is designed to manage high chat volumes and will expand to more businesses in Mexico soon.
3. Voice Calling and Video Chat Integration - Larger brands can now receive customer calls or initiate them after consent, directly within the WhatsApp Business Platform. Businesses can also send and receive voice notes or host video calls for use cases like healthcare or support.
Meta is transforming WhatsApp from a chat app into a full-service business channel. Centralized ad controls, smarter AI tools, and real-time voice options give brands new ways to manage reach, automate support, and drive sales, without needing third-party systems.
