🚀 Reddit’s API is sitting there. Your competitors haven’t touched it.
Your buyers are on Reddit right now describing exactly what they want, why they switched, what disappointed them, and what finally worked. AI systems are reading those threads, extracting that language, and using it to answer category queries.
Your brand copy is nowhere in that conversation.
The gap between how buyers talk about your category and how you describe your own product is the reason your pages aren’t getting cited. Reddit’s API closes that gap faster than any keyword tool you’re paying for.
Build your language extraction workflow
Pull 90 days of top posts from your three most relevant subreddits using Reddit’s API, filtered by score and comment volume.
You’re not mining for trends. You’re building a frequency map of the exact phrases, outcome descriptors, and comparison language appearing repeatedly across high-engagement threads.
“Finally stopped waking up at 3am.” “Held up after six months of daily use.” “Actually works on sensitive skin.”
That’s the language AI systems extract when generating category answers. Not your product description. Not your brand positioning. The words real buyers use when something works for them.
That frequency map is your content brief. Every high-priority product page gets rebuilt around it.
Close the language gap on your commercial pages
Take your extracted language map and run it against your current product pages. Flag every instance where your brand uses internal vocabulary where buyers use outcome language.
That gap is your AI retrieval gap. AI systems favor threads using buyer language over pages optimized around brand vocabulary because buyer language carries the semantic specificity they’re trained to extract.
Rebuilding your commercial pages around outcome language isn’t keyword optimization. It’s closing the single biggest structural gap between your content and what AI systems are already rewarding.
Find seeding targets through data not guesswork
Filter API results by account age over one year and comment frequency in your category subreddits. Prioritize contributors with multiple long-form reviews and zero brand affiliation signals.
Then run their existing content through ChatGPT and Perplexity for your target queries. Contributors whose content already surfaces in AI answers carry inherited citation trust.
A seeded review from them enters the citation pool with credibility already established. Everyone else starts from zero.
SEMrush’s AI Visibility Toolkit tracks which sources are being cited for your category queries across ChatGPT and Google AI Mode. You can try it free for 7 days.
The language is already out there. Go get it.

📱 Three Platform Updates That Actually Matter for Marketers This Week
Instagram is making carousels more useful, Whop is giving creators access to proper ad infrastructure, and Meta is quietly building an AI that does things for you, not just talks to you.
The Breakdown:
Carousels Get Captions - Instagram is testing per-slide captions, so each image or video in a carousel can carry its own text. Carousels already drive 12% more engagement than single posts on average.
Whop Launches Ads - Whop Ads plugs directly into Meta and runs from the Whop dashboard. Over 40,000 earners now get prioritized bidding, higher spend limits, and platform support built on data from 22 million buyers.
Meta Builds Hatch - Hatch is not a chatbot. It shops, researches, and takes action across Meta apps on your behalf. A separate AI shopping assistant is also being built specifically for Instagram, expected by the end of 2026.
Meta’s Hatch runs on Muse Spark, a multimodal model from Meta’s Superintelligence Labs, and is being built as a direct response to OpenAI’s autonomous agent OpenClaw.
